Carlos X. Jozsi is a Tampa native. He earned his Bachelor’s degree, with honors, in 2012 from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor and Estate Planning Certificate in 2015 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. As a student, he was awarded the University of Florida’s President’s Honor Award during his undergraduate studies and was on the Dean’s List during both undergraduate and law school. While in law school, he worked at the Eighth Judicial Circuit Probate Division and volunteered his time with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
Upon graduating from law school, Jozsi worked for 6 years for a prominent local firm located in The Villages, Florida, the largest retirement community in the United States. During his time there, Jozsi developed a reputation of working closely with clients to ensure their changing estate planning needs were always served, going the extra mile to make sure an otherwise complicated process was clearly communicated. Jozsi’s practice areas include income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning; cohabitation and marital agreements; drafting estate plans; wealth preservation and asset protection; serving as trustee and personal representative; and representation of trustees and personal representatives.
Jozsi also served as a Board of Director for the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce during his time in The Villages. When not spending time with his wife and dog, Jozsi also teaches introductory business law at Florida Southern College.
