About
Lawrence “Lonny” Held joined the firm in September 2023. Lonny came to the firm with experience in estate planning, guardianship, probate, trust and construction law. Lonny focuses his practice on estate planning, guardianship, probate, and commercial litigation.
Lonny is originally from Miami, Florida. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During his time at the University of Florida, he interned as a summer associate with the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he worked in both the examinations and enforcement divisions.
Lonny has successfully represented trustees, personal representatives and guardians in breach of fiduciary matters. He has successfully defended the rights of alleged incapacitated persons, beneficiaries and interested persons in guardianship and probate.
In addition to his work in litigation, Lonny is versed in guardianship, trust and probate administration. Lonny leverages the experience he has gained in these areas through litigation and administration to craft sophisticated, personally tailored, estate planning documents for his clients.
