    Richard T. Fuerst

    ABOUT

    Richard Thomas Fuerst joined Bleakley Bavol Denman & Grace in October, 2020, following his employment with the firm as a Summer Associate in 2019.

    Mr. Fuerst is a double Gator, having received his undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Florida. Within his legal fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta, he taught courses in trial advocacy and competed in mock trial competitions. He was named the State of Florida’s Mock Trial Champion twice and won nationally.

    During his time in law school, Mr. Fuerst worked as a Federal Judicial Intern with Judge Delano, Judge Bucklew, and Judge Sansone for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Fuerst served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association and oversaw the funding for over forty law student organizations. Upon graduating, Mr. Fuerst received his school’s Pro Bono Excellence award for his extraordinary commitment to public service.

    Mr. Fuerst lives in Clearwater with his wife, Christina. Outside of the office, he enjoys kayaking, camping, and cycling.
