Skylar Nocita joined Bleakley Bavol Denman & Grace in October 2021, following his employment with the firm as a Summer Associate in 2020.
Mr. Nocita is a Florida native and from the greater Tampa Bay Area. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Thereafter, Mr. Nocita attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor degree. During his time in law school, he was a member of the Florida Moot Court Team, and as a member he competed in and coached fellow team members in multiple nation-wide competitions. Mr. Nocita also served as the Student Works Editor for the Florida Journal of International Law and as a teaching assistant in Trial Practice. Additionally, Mr. Nocita received the “Book Award” in Privacy Law. Mr. Nocita focuses his practice on civil litigation work with an emphasis on defending workers’ compensation suits as well as appellate matters.
In his free time, Mr. Nocita enjoys rooting for Tampa Bay sports teams, working out, and rock climbing.
