Costs awarded to General Parts Distribution!

Warehouse worker Shane Helt has brought multiple workers compensation claims against his employer, CarQuest Auto Parts. So far the results for Mr. Helt have not been good. The first round of workers compensation litigation resulted in Mr. Helt paying his employer $3,004.65 after his lawyers withdrew the litigated claims and the JCC awarded CarQuest its litigation costs. In round two, Mr. Helt again withdrew his claims on the eve of the final hearing resulting in a second round costs awarded to CarQuest – this time $1,710.65. Final judgment in the second cost judgment is pending in the Marion County Small Claims Court where an order for that amount is already entred.
